What is the We Believe Foundation?

  • The We Believe Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping people around the world and members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints establish a meaningful and lasting habit of daily scripture study. We work to provide members with modern, best-in-class tools that utilize all of the great resources provided by the Church as well as other faithful members and organizations.

What is RISExp?

  • RISExp is modern, mobile-first platform created by the We Believe Foundation to help youth and young adults establish a meaningful and lasting habit of daily scripture study. The App provides content that has been specifically created for the platform, as well as draws upon and organizes the best content being produced around the web.

Are you associated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

  • No, neither the We Believe Foundation, nor RIESxp, are associated with or endorsed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

  • The products and services offered by The We Believe Foundation are neither made, provided, approved nor endorsed by Intellectual Reserve, Inc. or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Any content or opinions expressed, implied, or included in or with the products or services offered by The We Believe Foundation are solely those of the Foundation or those who created the original content and are not those of Intellectual Reserve, Inc. or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Does the app cost money to use?

  • No, the App is free to use and it is our commitment to keep it that way. We do incur significant costs in developing and administering the app, and we seek support from users to offset these costs, especially as we are working very hard to continually improve the platform and experience for our users. However, these donations are completely voluntary and are not required in order to use the app.

How can I become a supporter?

Are my donations eligible to be tax-deductible?

  • Yes. The We Believe Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit with the IRS. The effective date of our designation is January 1, 2021. Donations made to the foundation are eligible for tax deductibility.

How do I manage my recurring donation?

  • Our recurring donations are powered by Donorbox (donorbox.com). After making your donation, you will receive an email from them enabling you to create an account where you can manage (including canceling) your recurring donation.
